This summer, our IB Diploma cohort delivered an exceptional performance, achieving the highest pre-remark scores in the School’s history. With an average total score of 39.6 points, students demonstrated academic distinction across the board.
Of the 53 students in the cohort, 31 achieved 40 points or more, a benchmark reached by only 10% of students worldwide. Notably, four students – Bijen G, Erik P, Lina S, and Celia V – attained the perfect score of 45, a rare accomplishment achieved by fewer than 1% globally. An additional six students scored 44 points, underscoring this cohort’s remarkable depth of achievement.
Across 159 Higher Level subjects, students achieved 87 grade 7s (55%) and 47 grade 6s (30%), resulting in a cumulative A*/A equivalent rate of 84%, as per UCAS conversion standards. This outcome firmly places the School’s results well above global averages and even surpasses post-remark figures from previous years.
The calibre of these results ensures our students will secure placements at the most competitive institutions, including Oxbridge, top London Universities, and prestigious Ivy League universities in the US.
Headmaster, Mr Michael Punt commented: “These results are not only a testament to our students’ dedication and talent, but also to the unwavering support and excellence of our teachers. We are immensely proud.”
